The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, criticized the Secretary of State for Foreign and Global Affairs of the Kingdom of Spain, Diego Martínez Belío, for insisting on the foolishness of ignoring “from anachronistic arrogance” the legitimate Venezuelan institutionality.

“The people of Venezuela care little or nothing about their opinions, because all they have demonstrated is the ill intention of their Government in turning Spain into a sanctuary for Venezuelan terrorists and fascists,” Rodríguez said in a message posted on his Telegram account.

He emphasized that, in the face of these imperial pretensions on the part of the Spanish Government, which through its figure says it will not recognize the victory of President Nicolás Maduro in the last elections of July 28, “we are inspired by our glorious victory in the Battle of Carabobo (1821) to defeat the Spanish colonizers”.

“Venezuela will continue along this path of freedom and independence with dignity,” she said while being willing to meet “to clarify the truths of centuries, the recent ones and those of this episode.”

“I will attend as a Bolivarian!” , he ruled.
