Vice President Rodríguez took stock of the work of governorates, mayors and the People's Power

During the Plenary of the Federal Governing Council, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, took stock of the work carried out by the governorates, mayors and the People's Power so far this year 2024.

In this regard, regarding the governorates, he indicated that of the 531 projects they have proposed, 71% have been implemented. At the same time, he noted that for this purpose, five disbursements have been made so far this year and the sixth will be made soon.

He noted that among the states with the best governance are the following: Portuguesa, Monagas, Bolívar, Anzoátegui and Aragua.

As for mayors, he mentioned that 77% of the proposed projects have been executed and for this purpose a first disbursement was made and the second is coming soon.

He also referred to the People's Power, to which he extended his congratulations “because of the first Popular Consultation, all projects have already been disbursed and it is at an execution level of practically 68% and resources are beginning to fall for the second projects; and from the second Consultation, 14% have already been charged and resources are being reduced”.

He reaffirmed that the projects proposed by governorates, mayors and the People's Power are concentrated on roads, health, water, sports, education, electricity, public transport and environments, among others.

“These three instances are combined at the regional, local and People's Power levels, and we are making good progress in the execution of the projects of the Federal Government Council this year,” he said.
