The Venezuelan U17 national soccer team defeated its Haitian counterpart 4-2 in its last appearance of the first phase of the World Cup category being played in Qatar, and took first place in Group E.

Vinotinto went up in the 6th minute with a goal from Diego Claut, after a cross from the left by Ricardo Rincones and at 14' with a goal from John Mancilla increased the score by executing a penalty.

Haiti began to stalk and at 41' Dabens Jacquet managed to make the discount and they went to halftime 2-1 in favor of the Creoles.

In the second stage, both teams went on the attack and Haiti managed to equalize the score at 72', with a definition from Woodson Felix after a pass from the left.

Vinotinto was not defeated and at 80' the tiebreaker came after David García beat two opponents in the Caribbean area.

At 90+4′, Venezuela's fourth score would come after a clear foul in favor of García, who was in charge of collecting the penalty and putting definitive figures for the 4-2 match.
