ZEE de La Guaira received the first production line to manufacture fiber optic cables

The Single Authority of the Special Economic Zone (ZEE) of the state of La Guaira, Marcos Meléndez, this Monday, July 07, reported that it arrived at the Center for Industry and Innovation (CITI) in Catia La Mar, the first of the four production lines of the fiber optic cable manufacturing plant that runs in the entity.
On his Instagram account, he noted that “we have received the first of the four machines for manufacturing and the rest will be arriving next August. We are working on the installation and testing phase of this machine.”
Meléndez emphasized that the material was received by the ambassador of the Republic of Iran, His Excellency Mr. Ali Chegini and representatives of the company MDC.
He also stated that in the coming days training will begin with young people from technical schools in order to train them so that they can be incorporated into the labor field in this first stage of installation and start-up.
