34,400 doses of insulin are distributed in Zulia's hospital and outpatient network

For the free delivery of insulin-dependent patients, the National Government, through the Ministry of Health, distributes more than 34,400 units of insulin to the hospital and outpatient network of the state of Zulia.

After the arrival in the Zulia state of this essential medication for diabetic patients, distribution began in community pharmacies, in the 64 Integral Community Health Areas (ASIC), hospital facilities, clinics of the Venezuelan Social Security Institute (IVSS) and outpatient clinics, reported the coordinator of Zulia's Community Pharmacies, Zulma Páez.

He indicated, as reported by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN) that the shipment from the Health wallet corresponds to NPH Insulin and Crystalline Insulin and that patients can go to any Comprehensive Diagnostic Center (CDI) or Community Pharmacy with the medical report, the indication of the insulin they need and the photocopy of the identity card for registration and can receive the medication.

In addition to these are medicines and medical supplies, which arrived in the state in eight gangolas from Caracas and sent by President Nicolás Maduro to strengthen the region's hospital network, made up of 34 hospitals; as well as Comprehensive Diagnostic Centers (CDI), Popular Medical Offices (CMP) and state outpatient clinics.

They included analgesics, antipyretics, antibiotics, among others; as well as disposable and non-disposable medical supplies, which guarantee better patient care.
