70% of progress shows the rehabilitation of the T16 in Anzoátegui

“70% of Troncal 16 has been rehabilitated in 30 months of work,” said the governor of the state of Anzoátegui , Luis José Marcano, during a day of inspection of road works that are being carried out specifically at the height of Cantaura.

According to information issued by the government, the regional president specified that during 2 and a half years of government administration, more than 7 million dollars have been invested in this important road artery, from collection through the toll system.

He also indicated that more than 36,000 tons of asphalt have been placed, in addition to the maintenance of 17 sewers, reconstruction of another seven, in addition to the installation of cat eyes, demarcation of more than 80% of the road, lighting in the distributors, as well as their maintenance.

“During the route along the national highway, the authorities also handed over the rehabilitation work of the Aragua distributor and inspected those carried out at the Anaco and Km 52 distributors, improvements that are part of the Intervention Plan for the Maintenance of these infrastructures,” the government reported.
