A Barinesa, a Guara and a Meridian woman will represent Venezuela at the International Chess Festival

Venezuelan chess players, Kaissa Díaz and María Mena, will participate in the International Chess Festival of the Intellectual Academy, which will be held in the city of Novokuznetsk in Russia

The women from Barinas will represent Venezuela alongside Mathias La Cruz from Merida and the Larenses, Marcela Vergara and Rodrigo Barrios, who will make up the national team that will shine in Russian territory from February 12 to 18.

It should be noted that, in this great international event, more than 300 players will participate, coming from 40 countries that will demonstrate the worldwide popularity of chess, since the children's and pre-youth categories will be present in the competition, specialized press reported.
