Attorney General: 50 citizens arrested for illegal foreign exchange trading

The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, reported the arrest of 50 people linked to the irregular sale of foreign currency in the country.

According to the investigations, he specified that those involved carried out financial transactions outside official parameters, using various digital platforms, including social networks, which affected the stability of the economic system, according to a press release.

In this regard, Saab assured that the Public Prosecutor's Office reaffirms its commitment to the fight against financial crimes that threaten the national economic order.
