BOLÍVAR - CARONÍ/Cabello: In Venezuela there is an authentic participatory and leading democracy

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, confirmed that in the Bolivarian nation there is a true participatory and leading democracy.

During the swearing in of the Bolivarian Integral Base Committees (CBBI) in Bolívar state, the revolutionary leader stressed that these new structures send a strong message to the world.

“In Venezuela, if there is an authentic participatory and leading democracy, which is what our Constitution commands. This Constitution, approved in a referendum by our People, speaks of participatory and leading democracy. He left behind, he left representative democracy behind,” he said.

In this regard, he emphasized that “representative democracy in Venezuela is part of the past, but of a past that will never return.”

“The countries that criticize us, none, none have the peculiarity that the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela has. They continue with their representative model, which leads them to elect a governor, which leads them to elect, at most, a mayor, which leads them to elect a president and we already know what they are doing in every election that comes before them, they do fraud,” he criticized.
