Bolivarian Government delivers housing construction packages to the indigenous community in Delta Amacuro

The Bolivarian Government delivered construction material to the inhabitants of the Warao Araguaimujo community, in the Antonio Díaz municipality of the Delta Amacuro state. These are 27 combos for the self-construction of houses after the flooding of the Orinoco River affected their homes.
Spokesmen for the local United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) indicated that the combos consist of nails, roof, chainsaw, hammers and axes. In addition, among the supplies, they also delivered materials for felling and planting, since the initial plan contemplates the construction of new houses, but guaranteeing food for each family. Each family received kits for construction, logging and domestic solar lamps.
Reviewed by a local dam, indigenous councilor Carlos Ramos, stressed that the new houses will be made of wood and stilt houses, with standard amenities that mix Warao and Creole culture.
