Authorities took a tour of three agro-industrial facilities located in Delta Amacuro with the purpose of boosting regional production of rice, fish and heart of heart of heart.

The Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Juan Carlos Loyo, stressed that one of the commitments made by President Nicolás Maduro, at the request of Governor Loa Tamaronis, is the rehabilitation of fishing infrastructure, complemented by a comprehensive plan for the development of the sector.

For his part, the Minister of Industries and National Production, Álex Saab, highlighted the reactivation of productive plants in the entity based on alliances between the public and private sectors. He explained that the objective is not only the processing of rice, but also its cultivation, with an estimated area of between 4 thousand and 5 thousand hectares.

The governor of Delta Amacuro, Loa Tamaronis, said that the launch of the rice complex represents a significant step forward for the region, in line with presidential guidelines. He stressed that this initiative is part of the management aimed at consolidating the state's productivity and strengthening its economic development.
