Cabello highlighted militant participation in CBBI meetings: More than 4 million!

This Monday, November 17, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted the participation of 4 million 523 thousand 822 militants during the meetings for the formation of the Bolivarian Integral Base Committees (CBBI).

“Take note there, we don't fall for it, we are very severe, they moved this exercise that contemplated the weekend (8 and 9) and on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, there were 4 million 523 thousand 822 militants, men and women from Venezuela, over 15 years old,” he said during the PSUV press conference.

Regarding this process, he highlighted that he has received requests from several people to reopen registrations to join the PSUV. “These are people who were not militants of the Bolivarian Revolution, that of course fills us with emotion and joy,” he said.

In addition, he stressed that the emotion is greater because this is the party that Commander Hugo Chávez dreamed of, a political organization “to win elections, as we have demonstrated, but which also plays the fundamental role of building the Bolivarian Revolution, that the structure would pass from the electoral machinery, to the movement party, that would be able to direct, channel and bring to order the most heartfelt needs of our people.”

For this reason, he specified that this new structure of the CBBI will start with one-time tasks to continue strengthening Popular Power, in the midst of the blockade, sanctions, persecution and threats that Venezuela suffers every day from imperialism and its lackeys.
