In this regard, he indicated that in this Congress a method of electing candidates for April 27 must be developed, combining: grassroots consultations and assemblies; and we propose that they be community assemblies; polls (...) we would consider three or five surveys that are carried out or have been done on governorates, on performance and a national assembly (...)”.

In addition, he recalled the requirements established in the PSUV guidelines for choosing a candidate, among which he highlighted: “to be Venezuelan, patriot, revolutionary, anti-imperialist, Chavista, deputy defender of Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez, in every space, and being a factor of unity, must be recognized ethics and morals to be a member of the PSUV of the JPSUV.

“We are going to present the important candidates,” he said and reiterated the words of President Nicolás Maduro: “We must go to win all 24 governorates, we are not going to elections to lose anything, we cannot go to elections to lose.”
