This Thursday, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted the humble leadership expressed by the governor of the state of Apure, Wilmer Rodríguez.
“Wilmer is going to quickly become the political leader of the people of Apurea, because they are two different things... In political life he has very little, but when you see his performance and you see that a colleague is able to get off anywhere, he doesn't have a communication device like others could have to talk to the boy and the girl riding a donkey to school. What does he do? He remembers him as a child, he remembers that he lived it and felt it,” said Cabello.
He also assured that Rodríguez is ready to become the protector of the Apure state. “Let them mess with you but not with the state, you have to defend the people as the president defends Venezuela,” he said.
In this context, he recalled the moment when he visited the entity together with the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chávez. “You know how much he loves Apure, we were here with him on many occasions and he told us about Apure,” he recalled.
“When we arrived here, a water stick started to fall and I said to Wilmer: Damn Chavez has arrived! Years have passed and Chávez is still with us... “, added the general secretary of the PSUV.
In addition, he urged the people of Apurea to show their full support for the governor: “If he tells you don't leave me alone, don't leave him alone, say accompany him and help him to be the best governor of the Apure state. This is the path, to hand over to our people the greatest power that can be given to them.”
