The sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted that Venezuela is one of the stable countries in the region.
“Venezuela, today, this year, has less than three homicides per 100,000 inhabitants. Ecuador is currently at 64 homicides per 100,000 inhabitants, but the government of this country issued a statement that they are not coming to Venezuela because of insecurity (laughs),” Cabello said during the program Sin Truco Ni Maña.
He stressed that in this South American nation there are mafias that threaten the security of Ecuadorians.
For her part, the deputy to the National Assembly (AN), Tania Díaz, pointed out that “the pranes of prisons in Brazil make headlines in the newspaper: 'Sao Paulo is not moving today' because they dictate it from prisons and it is carried out.”
