Cabello: We are going to seek a new victory in mayors and city councils!

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that the parties of the Great Patriotic Pole Simon Bolivar (GPPSB) always heed the call of the National Electoral Council (CNE) when it calls elections and that is why they are preparing to win a new victory.

“The GPPSB parties have always responded to the CNE's call every time there are elections, we participate without half-measures and without conditioning,” Cabello said during a PSUV press conference.

He also stressed that in every election, the GPPSB parties always recognize the results announced by the CNE, whether they are favorable to the Bolivarian Revolution or not.

For this reason, he assured that “in this new election there is nothing different from what we would have done in other elections, we are going to participate and we are going to seek victory in mayors and in the different Municipal Councils across the country.”

He emphasized that, just as in the elections of May 25, these new elections will also see new faces. “We are going to see new faces with real, authentic grassroots leadership,” he said, noting that the winning candidates must continue to expand the popular base and govern for all Venezuelans without exclusion.
