Cabello: We are not going to wait for elections to know if someone is doing the job or not

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, warned that they will not wait four years for elections to find out if someone is doing their job or not, “so that no one feels that they have been put up with the stone”.

During the Extraordinary Plenary of the V Congress of the PSUV and IV of the JPSUV, Cabello Rondón, assured that the 1 X 10 of Good Governance, is one of the variables that will be considered. “If someone, being governor, mayor, deputy, did not worry about promoting the methodology that President Nicolás Maduro said or their concern was minimal, that is reflected in a scientific study that has the structure of the 1X10 to know who promoted this method and who did not promote it,” he explained.

“The 1X10 Good Governance is registered in all the states and all the municipalities of Venezuela. If I am governor or deputy and in a community they are solving a problem, I have to get closer to helping,” he said.

In that sense, he emphasized that this is how we are going to govern here in Venezuela, “from below.” Every day there will be more direct communication between the rank and file of the party and the rank and file of our people, with the national government.

Cabello Rondón also said that the holding of the electoral 1X10 will be reviewed. “We have all the records, we know who got in an election and who didn't.”

“In the recent National Popular Consultation there are 5 states with low participation, in other words, something happened, that should attract our attention and it will be a matter of evaluation,” he said.

He asserted that compliance with the tasks guided by the management levels of the PSUV will also be taken into account, the formation of street teams, community teams, the Hugo Chávez Battle Units (UBCH). “We have all the information on how many streets there are and how many have a Street Manager, that's another variable to review,” he warned.
