Cabello: Wilmer Rodríguez will always be with the People in their claims and victories

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted the virtues of the elected governor of Apure, Wilmer Rodríguez, and assured that he is a man who will always be with the People, both in good and in bad times.

“Wilmer Rodríguez is a man full of humility, identity and passion for Apurea, love for his state (...) seeing him take the oath of office today as elected governor is nothing short of anything. This People trusts you (...); this companion will be with the People in their demands, in their fights, in their demands, but he will also be with the People to celebrate the great victories that the people of Apurea will have,” said Cabello during the Swearing in of Governor Wilmer Rodríguez in Apure.

He reaffirmed that Wilmer Rodríguez is a humble young man who loves the Apure state with passion. “This is a good boy with no personal ambitions of any kind, he is a good citizen, a good companion, humble like no other,” he said, recalling the reaction of this young man when he was given the task of assuming the governance of the entity and then running as a candidate.

He emphasized that “Wilmer is governor because there is a Revolution here and the People are being listened to; the People expressed their opinion, expressed themselves and said and came out running (...) and the right decision was made”.

He also assured that this is a sign that in Venezuela it is Venezuelans who put and remove governors and presidents through the vote; and not through violence and coups d'etat that sectors of the extreme right insist on promoting.
