Carabobo actively participates in the Nomination Assembly of candidates for mayors and municipal councils

The nomination meetings were held in more than 47,000 communities in the country, allowing citizens to nominate their local leaders for the municipal elections on July 27.

As part of the process of nominating candidates for mayors and municipal councils, the community of the state of Carabobo met this Saturday in various grass-roots meetings to select their representatives.

From the El Sur Existe Commune, Yuleini Gilbra expressed her gratitude to the inhabitants for their active participation in the day. “We thank the entire community for attending this nomination meeting. Here people participate, they come out on their own merits and they choose who they want to represent them,” he said.

For his part, Marco Ascanio, representative of the community of Santa Inés, highlighted the high influx of citizens in the process. “Everyone has come to apply for the candidate they want. We are fulfilling the idea that everyone has their candidate, the one they really want,” he said.
