Caracas Contemporary Ensemble to offer concert at the Teresa Carreño Theater

This coming January 21, the José Félix Ribas Hall of the Teresa Carreño Theater will open its doors for the presentation of the Contemporary Ensemble of Caracas (ECC), which will perform its third concert.
According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the event, which will start at 6:00 p.m., is entitled The Piano: Yesterday, Today and Always, and will bring together not only Venezuelan performers but also international musicians, such as the soloist and special guest Kathirn Isabelle Klein, a native of Germany.
On the other hand, the Venezuelan soloist and member of the Contemporary Ensemble of Caracas, Claudio Rubera, under the direction of José Ricardo Pacheco, will show off his virtuosity from the black and white keys.
The Teresa Carreño Theater specified that this time there will be world premieres of pieces by Venezuelan composers Adrián Suárez and Andrés Levell, in addition to the re-premiere of the Lisbeth Suite by the Venezuelan composer Blanca Estrella de Méscoli.
In turn, there will be premieres in Venezuela of works by composers Wolfgang Rihm, Vladimir Tarnopolski and Eivind Buene.
