Caracas dominated the U19 National Table Tennis Championship by scoring 1,240 points at the Elizabeth Popper gymnasium, in the capital parish of San José.
The second place went to the state of La Guaira with 620 points and Anzoátegui completed the podium with 320 points.
The women's individual event was dominated by the representative of La Guaira, Dakota Ferrer, who also won the award of the most valuable in the tournament. The silver medal went to the capital Natasha Mata, while the third place and bronze medal were shared by the capital Albania Romero and the Anzoatiguense Barbara Betancourt.
In the men's category, the tournament's most outstanding player award ended up in the hands of Jesús Tovar from the capital. The second place was occupied by his teammate, Ludwing Perozo, followed by the capital's also Saul Béjar and Jonathan Vega in third position.
Meanwhile, Dakota Ferrer and Andrea Pérez won the gold medal in women's doubles. The silver one was won by the capital couple of Albania Romero and Natasha Mata, and the third place was shared by the pairs of Lara and Anzoátegui.
In the men's section, Yeifre Soteldo and Gabriel González from Larense took first place, relegating Pedro Revilla and Cesar Figueroa to second place. The third position went to the couples from Aragua and Caracas.
In the mixed doubles, the capital's Albania Romero and Jesús Tovar took the gold medal, followed by Guaíra's Dakota Ferrer and Sebastián Bellorín. The bronze medal was shared by the pairs of Carabobo and Caracas.
