Ciudad Mural International Muralism Festival successfully closed in Clarines

Last Saturday, June 7, the F International
Muralism Festival Ciudad Mural successfully closed its 6th state edition and 2nd
local edition with the delivery of 15 impressive murals reflecting the identity,
history and cultural roots of the town, consolidating Clarines as the “Museum City” of the state of
Anzoátegui.
This was announced by the governor of the state of Anzoátegui,
Luis Marcano, who, accompanied by 12 talented local, national and
international artists, officially presented the works that now embellish the streets of San Antonio and Bolívar.
“We are not going to rest until all the streets of our
town are beautiful, beautiful and full of culture and identity,” he said. In turn, he highlighted the transformation that the municipality has experienced and
the positive impact of this artistic initiative.
He also thanked the volunteers and congratulated the
artists for their contribution, in addition to pointing out that for 12 editions this
festival has brought art to different peoples of the country, thus reaffirming
the commitment to strengthening culture in every corner of Venezuela.
The festival also paid tribute to Las Florecitas del Campo and offered a varied program of training activities, workshops, talks, dance, painting, photography, poetry and music, consolidating itself as a space for art in all its expressions.
