CNE published schedule for running candidates for Municipal Elections 2025

Through its Telegram channel, the National
Electoral Council (CNE) published this Sunday the schedule for the collection, verification
and certification of expressions of will in support of
own-initiative candidates and electoral groups for the Municipal Elections on July 27
.
In this regard, according to the document, the appropriation
of funds for the request for Own Initiative will take place this Monday,
June 9; and the validation by the Civil and Electoral
Registration Commission of the records that support the request for Own Initiative will be made
on Tuesday, June 10.
Regarding the validation of the Expression of Will
according to the established sample of Own Initiative, the decision on the
registration and assignment of colors of Own Initiative, the decision on the
application for the constitution of Own Initiative and the publication of the Own
Initiative Register will be on Wednesday, June 11.
The text also indicated that voter groups will be able
to submit the request for names and acronyms and the appropriation of their proceeds next
Monday, June 9.
At the same time, the validation
and decision on the provisions of the Request for the naming of
Electoral Groups, as well as the validation by the Civil and Electoral
Registration Commission on the records that support the application of Electoral Groups, will take
place on Tuesday, June 10.
On the validation of the Expression of Will according to the established sample of Electoral Groups, the decision on the registration and assignment of colors, the decision on the application of names for the constitution of Electoral Groups and the publication of the Register of Constituted Electoral Groups will take place on Wednesday, June 11.
In the statement, the CNE also highlighted the procedure to be followed for the nomination of candidates and candidates on their own initiative and by the Group of Voters.
