CORPOELEC reports attack against SEN in Anzoátegui state

Through an official statement, the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) informs the Venezuelan people that, this Saturday, November 15, the National Electric System (SEN) was the victim of a new criminal sabotage that has caused the fall of three transmission towers in the Juan Antonio Sotillo municipality of the state of Anzoátegui.

Once again, the aggression seeks to “destabilize an essential public service for the Eastern people,” the statement reads.

The text adds that “in the face of this aggression, our workers were immediately deployed in the affected area, following the immediate response protocols established by the National Government, led by President Nicolás Maduro. The technical staff has started the repair work, in the Cerro Vidoño in the town of Anzoatigua”.
