Commander Hugo Chávez, on February 4, 1992, represented a cry of hope for the Venezuelan people who were oppressed, repressed, by the governments of the Fourth Republic, said Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez.

“Chávez on February 4th was a hope of struggle, so today we are claiming it,” he said in statements offered to Venezolana de Televisión during the march commemorating the 33rd anniversary of the civil military revolt of 4-F.

In this regard, he assured that the Supreme Commander was also responsible for returning Bolivar to the people, for vindicating Bolivarianism.

“That's why today is a day of commemoration, that's why today we pay tribute to those who were in that heroic feat that split our history in two,” he said.
