Delcy Rodríguez: This election represents a new phase of government

This Tuesday, during the swearing in of the governor of the Portuguese state, Primitivo Cedeño, the executive vice-president of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, stressed that “this election represents a new phase of government”.

“You know that during the election we chose the governor of our Guyana Esequiba, who is the ID of Venezuelan women and that we Venezuelans defend,” said the vice-president.

In this regard, Rodríguez added that “we are in a new phase where the participatory and leading democracy of our people is reaffirmed today consolidated in the communes, in the communal councils and the communal circuits, in this new phase the People rule.”

He also called on the Portuguese productive sectors to continue working to take the reins in the face of disturbances and those who want to sabotage “the People have told them to calm down extremists and fascists”.
