Diosdado Cabello on parallel dollar investigations: We are still working in silence

Venezuelan authorities continue to work to capture all individuals or groups that are linked to speculation through the exchange market and the so-called parallel dollar, said the Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello.

“We continue to work in silence, as we always do, and then we show what we achieved,” said Cabello during the broadcast of the program SinTruco Ni Maña, which he hosts with the deputy Tania Díaz.

In this regard, he noted that for this case there is a significant group of people arrested and that this number could increase as investigations progress.

“Hopefully they won't come out now to say that we are persecuting them, how poor, that they weren't doing anything wrong. They were only speculating with the currency and damaging the lives of a few people, but they're going to say that's normal,” Cabello critiqued.
