Diosdado Cabello to the revolutionaries: Don't let that people down!

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, said that ahead of the elections on July 27, the Great Patriotic Pole (GPP) will make every effort to present unitary candidacies and that they are also men and women who are always on the street next to the people.

“This time we will have more candidates and hopefully the opposition parties can unite and present a unitary proposal, I think; I don't know if that's possible, at this point it 's impossible. We try to make it that way within the Great Patriotic Pole and we make every effort to make it that way,” Cabello said during a PSUV press conference.

As for the campaign for fewer platforms and more streets, he said that it gave excellent results and that is why now “we now demand that those who were elected continue to be in the street” with the People.

He mentioned that as part of this campaign, which was carried out together with the People, the Amazonas Hospital will be rehabilitated. “As a result of this, the People feel empowered and strong to demand; so that you are a candidate, you are the winner as governor or representative, do not disappoint that People,” he said.

In addition, he pointed out the need for candidates for the elections this July 27 to leave the grassroots and be close to their communities.

“This People Who Resolve campaign continues (...) and that has to be part of a good government in which we must guarantee our people to live living, the one that Commander Hugo Chávez spoke of. We are doing what we must do for a great victory on July 27,” he said.
