Venezuelan Eugenio Suárez equaled his compatriot Magglio Ordóñez in third place on the list of Venezuelan homers with the most home runs in Major League Baseball (MLB).

On Sunday afternoon, Suárez hit his 18th home run of the season and 294 of his career, at the Great American Ball Park.

Suarez knocked it out of center field, against right-hander Brady Singer, in the second inning.

Now he guards Andrés Galarraga, who scored 399 shots, and Miguel Cabrera, who is in first place with 511.

Among active Venezuelans, Suárez is the leader followed by Salvador Pérez (278) and José Altuve (238).

In addition, Suárez hit 101 home runs in the Great American Ballpark and is in fifth place, which is led by Joey Votto (197), Jay Bruce (137), Adam Dunn (126) and Brandon Phillips (113), with the most home runs dispatched in the venue.
