Francisco Ameliach: The historic bloc must be shaped for the transition to socialism

The vice-president of Integral Defense of the Nation of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Francisco Ameliach, reaffirmed that the formation of the Historical Bloc will allow the transition to socialism.

“This new historic block will allow the Revolution to continue moving towards the transition of socialism,” he said, stressing that for this purpose President Nicolás Maduro has proposed the Plan of the Seven Transformations .

He reaffirmed that for this it is necessary to break with the capitalist structure of the culture of oil rentism, as has been done. “That is the structural time that we want to break with the strengthening of the new historic block,” he said.

“These are the great transformations that the country needs to move to socialism, and for that there is also the Plan for the Fatherland. We have to plan and execute that transition involving and seeking the unity of the People,” he said and pointed out that the Constituent Law of the Homeland Plan sets out how the great Historical Bloc will be organized.
