The government of the state of Anzoátegui handed over, completely rehabilitated to the population of Puerto La Cruz, the pier of that sector. It was renovated. The objective is to renovate spaces and improve working conditions for tour operators, artisans and fishermen who work on Paseo de la Cruz y el Mar, formerly Paseo Colón in the Sotillo municipality.
The spring, 6 meters long and 4 meters wide, incorporates high-strength elements such as plastic wood, a material that withstands marine conditions and guarantees a long lifespan.
During the rehabilitation, they also installed rope railings, which did not exist before, which provides security when boarding and disembarking passengers traveling to the El Faro, El Saco and Puinary islands of Mochima National Park, according to the local press.
