The Carabobo national team won the Women's National Softball Championship for the second time in a row at the Martha Medina stadium in Valencia.

The Carabobeñas won the title after defeating Lara in the final, seven races to zero.

In this commitment, Ratchael Schuman was recognized as the best player of the match after keeping the Larense players tied up and not allowing races.

The third place in the championship went to the representation of Yaracuy who defeated Miranda 2-1 and won the bronze medal.

The standings were completed by Aragua, Portuguesa, Caracas, Sucre, the Venezuelan Softball Federation, Nueva Esparta and Barinas, according to the Ministry of Sport press.

After this tournament, the Venezuelan Softball Federation will focus its efforts on preparing for the national representation that will compete from June 27 to July 5 in the Pan-American Championship for women's seniors in Montería, Colombia.

Venezuela will be part of Group C of the tournament in the company of Aruba, El Salvador, Guatemala and Puerto Rico.

This championship will award five places for the group stage of the 2026 World Cup, and will also qualify for the 2027 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru, and the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Starting on June 12, Venezuela will face a blank slate with the Cuban national team at the same Martha Medina stadium in Valencia in preparation for the event in coffee plantations.
