Head of State congratulated his Algerian counterpart for winning the presidential elections

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, congratulated his counterpart from the Democratic and Popular Republic of Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on his victory in the commissions held this Saturday.

“A worthy victory of total commitment to the multipolar world, won by the majority of his people on September 7 by the President of the Democratic and Popular Republic of Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune. Receive my embrace and fraternal congratulations,” wrote the Venezuelan head of state.

He also reiterated to the Algerian people and Government his intention to continue “moving towards a more humane and just world, without empires. Free peoples are more!”

Tebboune obtained 5 million 329,253 votes, 94.65% of the votes, in an electoral process that had a popular participation of 48%.
