The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, projected a growth in the country's gross domestic product (GDP) by the end of 2025.
During the 97th broadcast of his program Con Maduro+, the head of state referred to the projections of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), which predicts economic growth of 6% in Venezuela at the end of the year.
“I tell ECLAC what they have captured, but the real economy says that at the end of December we could be talking about a figure close to nine points of growth in Venezuela's gross domestic product, with growth in the real economy, which produces goods and services,” he said.
In this regard, he pointed out that in the Bolivarian nation “we found our way with the plan of the 13 engines and the construction of articulated virtuous circuits (...) of a real economy.”
He stressed that this is a “fairly harmonious growth, accompanied by all sectors of the economy, agriculture, agro-industrial, industrial, oil, petrochemical and gas”.
