Head of State ratified instruction to activate a Self-Government Chamber in the Community Circuits

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, ratified the instruction to comply with the activation of a Communal Self-Government Chamber in all the communes and communal circuits of the country.

“Each one must have a well-equipped room, with communication and work capacity. I mean grassroots, popular self-government. Today we are talking about 5,334 Community Circuits,” he said.

He also emphasized that the objective “is to consolidate true communes, really, it is already your practical and theoretical work, what is the parameter, the scale for measuring and building a commune. How many families it should have, which is the basis of the commune.”

He proposed this in the Ayacucho Hall of the Miraflores Palace, where he led an event for the activation of Q5 and the delivery of resources to the projects elected in the first National Popular Consultation 2025.

He also urged all Ministries to take action to provide support to communities to start the projects chosen in the first National Popular Consultation 2025.

He indicated that the Venezuelan people, with their conscience and vote, decided their projects on February 2. “They are going to start executing, starting today, because resources are freed up and they reach all the communal circuits in the country,” he said.
