This Monday, February 3rd, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that Venezuela proposes to transform conventional production through agroecology.
In this regard, he said that “there is a debate between organic and traditional agro-organic production that encourages the use of pesticides, in addition to highly processed additives and the negative impact on the soil.”
During the broadcast of his program Maduro Live de Repente, in which he mentioned that agrochemicals “kill the earth, which is a sin, you kill the human being”.
