The Venezuelan national soccer team is already concentrated in the city of Montevideo, and is preparing to face similar from Uruguay for the 16th day of the South American qualifiers heading to the 2026 World Cup.
The national squad comes from winning 2-0 at home against Bolivia, a victory that allowed them to consolidate in 7th place in the standings with 18 points, which gives them access to the World Cup repechage.
