INTT deploys checkpoints to monitor access to heavy-duty vehicles in Caracas

The National Institute of Land Transportation (INTT) reinforces access control for heavy cargo vehicles in the Metropolitan Area of Caracas.
The control points are located on the Centro Regional Highway (near Tazón) and on the Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho Highway (in the overpass), according to the INTT press.
In addition, constant vigilance is maintained to ensure that heavy-duty vehicles comply with the restrictions set out in Joint Resolution 088-0190.
According to Official Gazette No. 42,425 and Joint Resolution 088-0190, the circulation of heavy-duty vehicles is prohibited from Monday to Friday at the following times: in the morning from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., and in the afternoon from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The INTT called on drivers of heavy-duty vehicles to respect traffic regulations. Compliance with these provisions will not only avoid sanctions, but will also contribute to reducing accidents and improving mobility in Caracas.
