This Thursday, February 6, the president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Nicolás Maduro, emphasized to the Red Awning Directive the tremendous importance of designing for the National Assembly (AN), “a campaign to revive national memory”.

He stressed that the objective is for “all the Venezuelan people to come out on April 27, to vote for a safe, patriotic, nationalist, popular, socialist, Chavista National Assembly, to follow the path of stability, peace, recovery, growth and follow the path of making our country respect.”

The head of state recalled that the Venezuelan fascist extremist opposition, after taking over the National Parliament in 2015, only sought sanctions, support the aggression of the United States government and called for invasions.

“We have been in the presence of a criminal group that used extremist and oppositional politics to enrich itself with full hands, to steal from the people of Venezuela and, as is now known, to also steal the resources of the United States,” he stressed.

In that regard, he summarized the theft of resources from the Venezuelan State by extremist opponents. “These thieves of the Venezuelan fascist extreme right caused the country to lose more than 630 billion dollars with their sanctions and blockades and 99% of the country's income was lost,” he said.

Guaidó's band, María Corina Machado, Leopoldo López, Antonio Ledezma and Julio Borges have obtained 8 billion dollars through USAID. We have reported it, but it's already public and official, it's in the documents,” he added.

He indicated that it is estimated that they have obtained 10 billion dollars from CITGO and 11 billion dollars from the kidnapped bank accounts, which belong to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

He also mentioned that “of the gold illegitimately seized in the Bank of England 2 billion dollars. All of this stolen money, totaling 31 billion dollars, was distributed to him. Thieves who were asking for money for humanitarian aid to Venezuela and not a penny arrived.”

On the other hand, he stressed that “not satisfied with these robberies, they forced thousands of families to leave the country and set up 'coyote' mafia companies, to ask migrants for money, 10 thousand dollars, to be transferred to the United States of America, and so on, in other parts of the continent.”

“We have recovered this country by heart, with wisdom and unity,” he emphasized.
