The
Secretary of International Relations
of the Spanish Communist Party, Manu Pineda, questioned the president of the Government
of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, for describing former presidential candidate
Edmundo González as a “hero”.
Through a publication in X, Pineda reminded Sánchez that Edmundo González Urrutia is involved in the
murder of progressive priests in El Salvador, and added that he also promoted,
together with the leader of the extreme right María Corina Machado, a blow to Venezuelan
institutions by trying to ignore the electoral results that gave victory to President Nicolás Maduro.
The
activist warned Sánchez that this incoherent measure by sectors of the Venezuelan opposition is similar to that
of 2019 with the self-proclamation of Juan Guaidó.
“Sánchez
already made a tremendous ridicule in January 2019, being one of the first leaders to recognize Juan Guaidó as
president of Venezuela (...) Now he
returns to his feet in solidarity with the puppet of the criminal María Corina Machado (MCM),” he said.
“
He doesn't understand that for doormats, the empire prefers those for black ones, not
copies,” he added.
