Minister Prado: In the first Popular National Consultation 2025 there was greater participation of the People

The Minister of Popular Power for Communes, Social Movements and Urban Agriculture, Ángel Prado, stressed that in this first National Popular Consultation 2025, there was evidence of greater assistance from the People, to exercise their right to vote and choose their projects, in order to solve their difficulties in their communities,

“The Communes want to demonstrate that they are efficient and that they have the capacity to manage resources and execute works for the community,” he emphasized.

He commented that “yesterday (Sunday) was a day of great emotion, reunion, of great commitment to the community, to the Fatherland. We have gained a lot of trust with the Popular Consultation, before the spokesperson, the popular leadership, people who did not participate in the first consultation, who were a little more convinced at the second consultation, yesterday we saw them, even promoting the projects,” he said.

The approach was made by Prado, in the broadcast of his program Maduro Live de Repente, hosted by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

The minister said that communities assume that difficulties and various problems are solved together, “making our people aware that we must be part of the solution of problems or protagonists.”

“We as a people can assume competencies, the execution of resources, and we can manage, it is already culture in our country, that in every neighborhood and every community there is a popular organization,” he said.
