Minister Villegas: We received two tons of books from Egypt for FILVEN 2025

Through his account on the social network Instagram, the Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas, reported that two tons of books have arrived in the country from Egypt translated into Spanish that will be exhibited and distributed at the XXI International Book Fair of Venezuela ( FILVEN2025).

“Another two tons of books will arrive in the country during the fair. The Egyptian delegation will include writers, editors and senior officials linked to culture,” he said, recalling that the Arab Republic of Egypt will be the Guest of Honor in this new edition of FILVEN.

He also indicated that Venezuela has been working together with the Egyptian ambassador to Venezuela, Kareem Essam El-Din Amin, and his diplomatic team for what will be the exhibition of that country at the book festival in Venezuela.

“We are sure that Egypt and Venezuela will shine together at this fair,” he said.

The XXI International Book Fair of Venezuela 2025 will be held in the spaces of the National Art Gallery and Plaza Juventud, Avenida México, Caracas, from July 3 to 13, under the motto: “Reading Humanizes”.
