Ministry of Health denied false information about COVID-19 on social networks

The Ministry of Popular Power for Health (MPPS) denied the veracity of a message disseminated on digital platforms and messaging applications, which assures the appearance of a new variant of COVID-19 in the country.

Through its Instagram account, the institution clarified that these rumors are unsupported and urged the population not to be carried away by publications of unknown origin, whose purpose is to sow uncertainty.

The entity also shared an image identifying erroneous content related to prevention measures, including the use of masks. Given this, he urged not to replicate misleading information that generates unnecessary alarm.
