More than 400 women were treated with free medical consultations in the areas of geriatrics, nephrology, pediatrics, dentistry, gynecology, obstetrics, ophthalmology, general and internal medicine, ultrasound and nutrition, as part of the care provided during a day organized by the Venezuelan Women's Mission in the Aragüeña town of San Mateo.
The day on health and social protection included the delivery of medicines, investigations and immunizations, and also offering spaces for legal advice, with information on violence, gender protection and mobile courts.
The governor of the entity Karina Carpio stressed that during this type of day, a complete approach is taken to the needs of the people, by capturing health cases that need to be included in the Surgical Plan.
“The Great Venezuela Women's Mission, hand in hand with our government structures, continues to provide comprehensive care to all Sanmateans,” said the entity's first civil authority.
