More than 600 women from Choroní benefited from a comprehensive health care day in Aragua

A total of 648 women were treated at the Health Care Day, held within the framework of the Great Venezuela Women's Mission (GMVM) that took place in Choroní, Girardot municipality in the state of Aragua.

In the activity, comprehensive support was provided to pregnant women, older adults, adolescents and girls, with specialties in general medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, nutrition, dermatology, psychology, cardiology, gynecology and obstetrics, ophthalmology, optometry and family planning.

In the same way, dental care was offered with dentistry, cleaning, exodontics and prophylaxis. 22 ultrasounds were performed, more than 5 thousand medications were delivered and 50 thousand units dispensed to patients, in order to strengthen quality health, free for everyone.

The activity that took place in the emblematic Plaza de Choroní, included educational talks, vaccination, screening for diabetes and high blood pressure, delivery of oral contraceptives and pregnancy kits to guarantee medical care, as well as other preventive medications for the Aragüeño population.
