More than 750 inhabitants of San José de Barlovento benefited from a comprehensive care day

Residents of the Los Galpones community, in the San José de Barlovento parish of Miranda state, benefited from a day of comprehensive social care, focused on supporting agricultural producers in the region.

According to information issued by the Government, the Deputy Governor of Barlovento, Miguel Marín, explained that through the Ministry for Food and the Supply Corporation of Miranda S.A. (CAMSA), care was provided to more than 750 producers and members of the community with the sale of animal protein (chicken, fish and sausages).

As for the care areas, it was known that the locals received medical care, recreation and advice in urban agriculture, as well as in pig farming and cocoa cultivation, ensuring comprehensive support for local producers.

During the activity, Marín highlighted the importance of continuing with the work to recover agricultural roads, mentioning that the circuits to be serviced progressively have already been identified.” The communities of Los Galpones, Agua Clara, El Delirio and Piñango were treated with the recovery of roads, consolidating the municipality with the highest percentage of attention in this area,” he said.
