Ñáñez: Edmundo González's intention was always to go

The Minister for Communication and Information, Freddy Ñáñez, stressed that from the beginning Edmundo González's intention was to flee the country.

During his podcast Lucha Almada, he recalled that the Attorney General, Tarek William Saab, at a press conference, revealed that Edmundo González's lawyer stated that his client did not show up for the subpoenas due to pressure exerted by María Corina Machado.

In addition, Ñáñez pointed out that the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, denied the Spanish minister who denied negotiations for the departure of Edmundo González.

He stressed that it is impossible to evade diplomatic protocols that involve communication between nations.
