National Government advances in the installation of the Cumanacoita Bridge in Sucre

The Minister for Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, supervised the work of the Cumanacoita Bridge and reported that construction is progressing by 80%, so its delivery will take place in two weeks.

The holder of the Transportation portfolio also inspected the Los Colorados and Nueva Esperanza border faults, located between the Cumaná and Cumanacoita highway. Work that is expected to be completed in 15 days, and where it is being built with bolsacreto, with an elevation of up to six meters high and the extension of the road has been carried out, for greater convenience to the population.

“We are completing this second project in two weeks, in record time, as ordered by President Nicolás Maduro,” said the minister quoted in a press release from the institution.

He also noted the work carried out in the construction of the Tataracual bridge, in the Boca de Tataracual sector, where the bases of the structure were emptied, thanks to a novel method implemented by the working class. This structure will benefit the 500 inhabitants of the communities: Valle Nuevo, Chispero, Sabilada, San Antonio, Chiguana, Campuma, Valle Grande and Boquerón.
