The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, reported that the country increased non-oil exports to 87%.

This was reported in his Con Maduro+ program this Monday, at which time he called for strengthening the 13 Productive Engines and creating new imports to strengthen the country 's economic independence.

“We have to develop the 13 engines, which are on, we have to consolidate domestic production, import substitution, and create new exports,” he said.

In this regard, he invited the development of two types of virtuoso circuits of domestic production. “One that produces everything in Venezuela and based on the national currency and another dedicated to new exports to generate currencies beyond oil.”
