New evidence points to Gilber Caro as responsible for a road accident in Miami

United States authorities released nine pieces of evidence that directly incriminate the former opposition member, Gilber Caro, with a tragic traffic accident. This was confirmed by a Miami police spokesman, Mike Vega, who referred to a video that was on the dashboard of the third vehicle involved in the accident.

Vega said that the audiovisual confirms that the person guilty of the incident is Gilber Caro. Under these circumstances, the detainee could face four to 30 years in prison.

“We're talking to the prosecution and changing the report to show exactly what happened. Then, additional charges are going to be filed and I'm sure you're facing the charge of voluntary homicide through a vehicle,” Mike Vega said.

He also admitted that the decision taken at the beginning was wrong, because it was based “on the information we had received from people in the accident, with cameras that were at a distance from where it happened,” reports an international news agency.

Until a few hours ago, the only crime Gilber Caro faced before the evidence related to the traffic accident was based on the evidence collected, which was to abandon the crash. But, his name and phone number were found on a food bag that was inside the Chevrolet.
